P &Z MEETING MINUTES <br /> DECEMBER 7, 1993 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by LaMotte to adjourn the public <br /> hearing, motion carried unanimously. Public hearing adjourned <br /> 7:25 p.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING: <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday, December 7, 1993 at the City Hall. Chairperson <br /> Tourville called the meeting to order at 7:26 p.m. Present: <br /> Drilling, LaMotte. Absent: Vermeulen, Welk. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> Tuesday. November 2. 1993 Meeting Minutes. <br /> Approval of the Tuesday, November 2, 1993 meeting minutes were <br /> tabled until a consensus of the Planning and Zoning members <br /> present at the meeting are in attendance. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Possibility of vacating that part of Sorel Street that is <br /> unimproved and abuts Lots 5. 6 - Block 13. Lot 7 - Block 12. Lot <br /> 12 - Block 11 Centerville. <br /> Chairperson Tourville noted that if there is a problem with <br /> drainage in the future, the City of Centerville will have to deal <br /> with the problem then. Chairperson Tourville expressed he did <br /> not feel is should prohibit the development of the parcel. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by LaMotte to recommend to the City <br /> Council the approval of the petition to vacate that portion of <br /> Sorel Street that is unimproved and abuts the following: <br /> Lots 5, 6 Block 13 Centerville <br /> Lot 7, Block 12 Centerville <br /> Lot 12, Block 11 Centerville <br /> and lying east of Centerville lake, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Possibility of Amending Ordinance #4. Article 3. Section 34.01 <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS to exclude new development plats. <br /> Motion by LaMotte, second by Drilling to recommend to the City <br /> Council the approval of the amendment to Ordinance #4, Article 3, <br /> Section 34.01 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS as follows: <br /> NOW READS: 34.01 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS. The minimum <br /> depth of front yard, rear yard and side yard <br /> for each district shall be as defined in the <br /> Schedule of Regulations except where adiacent <br /> structures have front yard setbacks different <br />
