P &Z MEETING MINUTES FEBRUARY 2, 1993 PAGE FIVE - a twenty - thirty foot walkway /trailway easement along the ditch area be incorporated into the plan; - a sidewalk along the west side of Ojibway Road on the northern section of the plan is included; - that the City develop the twenty - thirty foot walkway / trailway easement be developed simultaneously with the planned Regional Detention Pond; - that an "9" curve (Ojibway Road and Mill Road) be • incorporated on the northern section of the plan; - an easement between Lots 4 and 5, Block 3 of the southern section of the plan be included for access to the proposed park land; - and a 60 foot easement with a "T" turnaround between Lot 9, Block 1 and Lot 1, Block 2 be included, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Vermeulen, second by LaMotte to recommend that the Preliminary Plat Public Hearing be scheduled at the City Council level, motion carried unanimously. The Planning and Zoning Committee noted that at a previous meeting a reeonunendation was made regarding the rezoning of the proposed Acorn Creek development. Mr. Re;ibein noted that bigger lots do not guarantee larger homes_ Mr. Rel:bein expressed that the City can not have both. • Acting Chairperson Welk noted that many people have expressed • that their reason for moving to Centerville was the open space and larger lots.
