Commission member Drilling <br /> noted that residents and fisherman will still want to be able to <br /> get to Peltier Lake_ These people would be rerouted through a <br /> residential area. Commission member Drilling suggested looking <br /> into not having right angles. <br /> John Stewart, City Engineer, noted that Mill Road can be <br /> resurfaced every seven years or so. <br /> Carol Pelton, 7178 Mill Road was present. Ms_ Pelton noted that <br /> Mill Road is breaking up and there is a severe drainage problem. <br /> The road is starting to slide down the bank. Another guard rail <br /> is necessary. Ms. Pelton noted the structure of Mill Road is a <br /> concern. If the rear property lines abut Mill Road they could <br /> not be assessed for the improvement of Mill Road. Ms. Pelton <br /> noted that she lives on Mill Road and there appears to be a lot <br /> of traffic. Ms. Pelton noted that a lot of children live on Mill <br /> Road. Ms. 'Pelton noted that Centerville presently has east /west <br /> collector streets to service the proposed development_ Ms_ <br /> Pelton noted that there is a lot of vacant land in Lino Lakes to <br /> be developed_ Ms. Pelton asked if Centerville taxpayers want to <br /> Say for the upgrading of Mill Road to facilitate future Lino <br /> Lakes development. Mr_ Rehbein noted that 73rd Street is a east /west <br /> eoliector street to 20th Avenue, Petersen Trail is a collector <br /> street to Main Street and Mill Road is a collector street to Main <br /> street. Mr. Rehbein noted that Mill Road is not built to <br /> collector street standards. Mr. Rehbein noted that development <br /> for the northern half_ of the propcsed Acorn Creek is <br /> approximately three years away. <br />
