Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a public hearing on <br /> Tuesday, September 8, 1992 at the City Hall. The purpose of the <br /> public hearing was to hear all persons present regarding a <br /> request to rezone the following properties: <br /> Property Identification Number: 14 31 22 42 0003 <br /> and legally described as: <br /> The South 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of <br /> Section 14 31 22; subject to easement to Rural Coop Power <br /> 6/24/63 - United Power Association easement partially <br /> released 12/19/72 <br /> Property Identification Number: 14 31 22 43 0016 <br /> and legally described as: <br /> That part of the north 1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of the <br /> southeast 1/4 of Section 14 Township 31 Range 22 described <br /> as follows: commencing at the southwest corner of said <br /> north 1/2, then east (assd brg) along south line thereof <br /> 292.11 feet to point of beginning, then north 1 degree east <br /> 142.29 feet, then south 63 degrees 44 minutes 20 seconds <br /> west 95.56 feet, then west 165.04 feet to east R/W line of <br /> Mill Road, then north 1 degree east along said R/W line <br /> 60.01 feet, then east 150 feet, then north 1 degree east <br /> 212.08 feet, then south 89 degrees 57 minutes east 5 feet, <br /> then north 1 degree east 149.21 feet, then south 89 degrees <br /> 55 minutes 50 seconds west 14.21 feet, then north 4 degrees <br /> 40 minutes 49 seconds east 143.21 feet to north line of said <br /> 1/4, 1/4, then east along said north line to northeast <br /> corner thereof, then south along east line of said 1/4, 1/4 <br /> to southeast corner of north 1/2 of said 1/4, 1/4, then west <br /> along south line of said north 1/2 to point of beginning; <br /> subject to easement of REC; <br /> The requested rezoning of the above combined properties is as <br /> follows: <br /> - south 400 feet from R -1 Rural Residential to R2A Single <br /> Family Residential; <br /> - middle 420 feet from R -1 Rural Residential to R2 Single <br /> Family Residential; <br /> - north 500 feet from R -1 Rural Residential to R5 Single <br /> Family Estate. <br /> Chairperson Tourville called the public hearing to order at 7:07 <br /> p.m. Present: Drilling, LaMotte, Welk, Vermeulen. <br /> Chairperson Tourville summarized the request for rezoning to the <br /> Commission and audience members. <br /> Gerald Rehbein, Developer of the proposed Acorn Creek <br /> Development, was present. Mr. Rehbein noted, in his opinion, the <br /> requested rezoning meets the Centerville Comprehensive Plan. The <br /> third phase of the proposed development was not included on the <br />
