Mr. Burgstahler, expressed that in his opinion, the <br /> proposed Preliminary Plat meets the concept of the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. Mr. Burgstahler expressed more concern over were the <br /> zoning line would be drawn. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by LaMotte to recommend to the City <br /> Council the rezoning request of Gerald Rehbein, Developer Acorn <br /> Creek Development be approved as follows: <br /> - south 400 feet from R -1 Rural Residential to R2A Single <br /> Family Residential; <br /> - middle 420 feet from R -1 Rural Residential to R2 Single <br /> Family Residential; <br /> - north 500 feet from R -1 Rural Residential to R5 Single <br /> Family Estate, <br /> AYE - Drilling; AYE - LaMotte; AYE - Tourville; NAY - <br /> Vermeulen; NAY - Welk, motion carried. <br /> It appeared the reasons for Commission members Welk and Vermeulen <br /> voting nay on the proposed rezoning are as follows: <br /> - They would prefer the re- alignment of the R2 zoning <br /> district north of 73rd Street; <br /> - the rear lot lines appear to be uneven. The concern <br /> would be if one home owner planted shrubs or placed a <br /> privacy fence there would be a "gap ". <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Drilling to recommend to the City <br /> Council the approval of the Preliminary Plat as presented <br /> contingent upon the inclusion of: <br /> - existing zoning of tract and properties within 350 feet <br /> of proposed plat boundaries; <br /> - location, widths and names of all existing or <br /> previously platted streets or other public ways, <br /> showing types of improvement, if any, railroad and <br /> utility right -of -ways, parks and any other public open <br /> spaces, permanent buildings, structures, easements and <br /> section and corporate lines within the tract and within <br /> 350 feet of the tract; <br /> - name and addresses of owners of property (as shown on <br /> county tax records) within 350 feet of proposed <br /> subdivision boundary; <br /> - existing and proposed streets and right -of -way, <br /> including widths and purposes within 350 feet of <br /> proposed subdivision boundary; <br /> - existing and proposed easements, including widths and <br /> sure0000 within MI foot of pr pc @d ®uWWivinion <br /> boundary; <br />
