There appears to be no room for parking. <br /> Chairperson Tourville suggested to Mr. Wegan that he may want to <br /> consider some type of privacy fencing. <br /> Mr. Wegan noted that he may want to sell 10 -20 feet to the owner <br /> of the Trio Inn for parking expansion and snow storage. <br /> Motion by LaMotte, second by Vermeulen to recommend to the City <br /> Council that the following property legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 1 and 2, Block 5, Centerville except the North 10 <br /> feet of said Lot 2; subject to easement of REC, <br /> be rezoned from Commercial (B -1) to Single Family Residential - <br /> Sewered (R -2), motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Beyond the Basics - Seminar <br /> It was discussed that Chairperson Tourville and Committee member <br /> LaMotte would like to attend the Beyond the Basics Seminar on <br /> Thursday April 9, 1992. City Staff is directed to register <br /> Chairperson Tourville and Committee member LaMotte and to order <br /> one book on the duties of the Planning Commission. <br /> Ba.g_ular Schedule Meeting - Agenda Items - Updating Ordinance <br /> Chairperson Tourville questioned the Committee members present if <br /> they would like to meet if there are no formal agenda items. <br /> Committee member Vermeulen noted that the Commission could work <br /> on updating Ordinance #4 and that it also appeared UiicU the City <br /> Council would like for the Planning and Zoning Commission to <br /> meet. <br /> Chairperson Tourville rioted that he would like to wait for the <br /> Attorney's comments on suggestions for updating Ordinance #4. <br /> Chairperson Tourville expressed that the Attorney s <br /> responsibility to review the ordinance and make recommendations <br /> to the Planning and Zoning Commission. It is the responsibility <br /> of the Planning and Zoning Commission to adopt or disregard the <br /> Attorney's recommendations. <br /> Committee member Welk noted that she preferred waiting for the <br /> Attorney's opinion before spending the time reviewing Ordinance <br /> #4. <br /> Committee member Vermeulen left at 8:05 p.m. <br />
