Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a public hearing on <br /> Monday, April 22, 1991 at the City Hall. The purpose of the <br /> hearing was to hear all persons present regarding the possibility <br /> of amending Ordinance #4, Article 5, PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS <br /> and adding APPENDIX C - MULTI - FAMILY DWELLINGS. Chairperson <br /> Tourville called the public hearing to order at 7 :10 p.m. <br /> Present: Wilharber, Welk, Vermeulen, City Council Liaison <br /> Burgstahler. Absent: Drilling. <br /> Chairperson Tourville summarized the proposed amendments to the <br /> members of the Planning and Zoning Commission and audience. <br /> Chairperson opened the public hearing to the audience for <br /> comment. It was noted that there was no developers present and <br /> no comment was offered from members of audience. <br /> Motion by Wilharber, second by Vermeulen to adjourn the public <br /> hearing, motion carried unanimously. The purpose of the <br /> hearing was to hear all persons present regarding the possibility <br /> of granting variances from Ordinance #4 in order that a garage <br /> (nonconforming structure and nonconforming use) may be remodeled <br /> to be enlarged. The property for which the variances are <br /> requested is described as: <br /> Auditor's Subdivision number 48, revised lot 9 Auditor's <br /> Subdivision 48, revised. Including 1/2 of vacated street <br /> lying west of and adjacent to Lot 9, And the 1/2 of vacated <br /> street lying adjacent to and east of Lot 1 and 2 in Block 3 <br /> in Village of Centerville 10/28/63. (Subject to sanitary <br /> sewer easement to Centerville 2- 24 -77) <br /> The property is commonly referred to as 1759 Main Street. <br /> Said property is in a C -1 Conservation Zoning District and is <br /> within the Flood Plain. <br /> Chairperson Tourville called the public hearing to order at 7:17 <br /> p.m. Present: Wilharber, Welk, Vermeulen, City Council Liaison <br /> Burgstahler. Absent: Drilling. <br /> Chairperson Tourville opened the public hearing to members of the <br /> audience for comment. <br /> Kyle Kilmer, 1759 Main Street, was present. Mr. Kilmer noted <br /> that he is the property owner. The variance request is a result <br /> of a purchase agreement for the property by Richard W. Tuomi. <br /> Mr. Kilmer noted that the garage is too small for a full size <br /> truck to be park inside. <br />
