Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the CIty of Centerville held a public hearing on <br /> February 6, 1990 at City Hall. The purpose of the hearing was to <br /> hear all persons present regarding the possibility of amending <br /> Ordinance #4, Section 71.35 LOT WIDTH OF - <br /> now reads: The mean width measured at right angles <br /> to the depth. <br /> amend to read: The horizontal distance between side lot <br /> lines measured at the building setback <br /> line. <br /> Chairman Tourville called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> Present: Drilling, Welk, Wilharber, liaison Pelton. Absent: <br /> Vermeulen. <br /> Chairman Tourville summarized the proposed amendment to Ordinance <br /> #4, Section 71.35 to the Commission members and people in the <br /> audience. Chairman Tourville expressed the reason for this <br /> amendment was to clarify some of the language in the amendment. <br /> No members of the audience made any comments on the proposed <br /> amendment. No members of the Commission made comments on the <br /> proposed amendment. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Welk to adjourn the Public Hearing, <br /> motion carried unanimously. Chairman Tourville called the <br /> meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Present: Welk, Drilling, <br /> Wilharber, liaison Pelton. Absent: Vermeulen. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Wilharber to accept the meeting minutes <br /> of the January 4, 1990 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE #4. SECTION 71.35 <br /> Discussion on the proposed amendment to Ordinance #4, Section <br /> 71.35 LOT, WIDTH OF - took place between members of the <br /> Commission and members of the audience. <br /> Some concern was expressed if this would effect corner lots, and <br /> the width at the rear lot line. <br /> Tamara Miltz- Miller, Clerk /Administrator, was present and <br /> explained that lots still must meet square footage requirements. <br /> This proposed amendment would be in conjunction with Ordinance #8 <br /> - Odd Shaped Lots. <br /> L <br />
