P &Z MEETING MINUTES FEBRUARY 6, 1990 PAGE SIX Liaison Pelton expressed that this was needed for the phasing in of housing for the existing rural residential residents. Chairman Tourville expressed that he would prefer to use Estate versus Executive in the naming of this proposed R5 zoning district. Chairman Tourville also expressed that it behooves the City to offer more housing alternatives. Commission member Welk questioned as to how the graduation from the different zoning districts would be done. Liaison Pelton noted that this would have to be site specific. Motion by Welk, second by Drilling to recommend to the City Council the concept of an R -5 Estate Zoning District, motion carried unanimously. POSSTBT.E AMENDMENTS TO - ORDTNANCE #4. ARTTCLE 4. NON - CONFORMTNG USES AND STRUCTURES AND ORDTNANCE #8. SECTIONS 43.44,45 Motion by Drilling, second by Wilharber to table the possible amendment to Ordinance #4, Article 4, Non - Conforming Uses and Structures, and the possible amendment to Ordinance *8, Sections 43,44, and 45 until the March 6, 1990 meeting, motion carried unanimously. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIRPERSON Motion by Drilling, second by Wilharber to elect Dan Tourville to the position of Chairperson of the Planning and Zoning Commission, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Drilling, second by Wilharber to elect Kathy Welk to the position of Vice Chairperson of the Planning and Zoning Commission, motion carried unanimously. J
