It appeared to be <br /> the general consensus of the Commission that this is too costly. <br /> The Commission would like to see City Staff continue with the <br /> retyping of Ordinances and would like to have them follow the <br /> format of Ordinance #4, as far as amendments are concerned. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Wilharber to drop the Codification <br /> of Ordinances as it appears to be to costly to be done, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Discussion on the Centerville Residential Development Guide. <br /> Chairman Tourville summarized to the commission the idea behind <br /> having a Residential Development Guide. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Drilling to table the discussion <br /> of the Centerville Residential Development Guide till the next <br /> meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Discussion on the Centerville Commercial /Industrial Development <br /> Guide. It appeared to be the general consensus of the commission <br /> that having this guide was a very good idea. <br /> Tamara Miltz- Miller, Clerk/ Administrator was present and <br /> summarized the guide, explaining that the guide was not in final <br /> draft, and that approval is not what was asked. The City Council <br /> would like suggestions, changes, and direction from Planning and <br /> Zoning. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Drilling to recommend to the City <br /> Council the acceptance of the concept of a Commercial /Industrial <br /> Development Guide, with the addition of dating pages as there are <br /> updated, motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> A short discussion on the proposed rezoning of the 37 acres north <br /> of the Centerville Heights development. Commission member <br /> Drilling expressed that the developer should not dicate to the <br /> Commission which way the property has to be developed, and that <br /> the Comprehensive Plan should be reviewed. <br /> Liaison Felton expressed concern over reviewing of the <br /> Comprehensive Plan, that many people had worked on this, public <br /> hearings were held, and that the Comprehensive Plan was adopted <br /> through a very democratic way and should not be taken lightly. <br /> It appeared to be the general consensus not to discuss R2A <br /> zoning, that R2 is the zoning they would prefer in this area. <br />
