P Rs Z Meeting Minutes <br /> July 5, 1989 <br /> Page Six <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to table the variance request <br /> to Ordinance #4 to build a garage 15 feet into the setback (10 <br /> feet from the property line) at. 1994 North Robin Lane until the <br /> August meeting in order to clarify the Anoka County setbacks <br /> required on a County Road and whether or not this variance was <br /> acceptable to Anoka County, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Discussion of the Special Use Permit requests to erect a real <br /> estate development sign by Howard Bohanon of Bohanon Homes, and <br /> Dave Madison of Kenco Construction. <br /> It was the general consensus of the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission that it should not be necessary to obtain a special <br /> use permit and have to pay a fee of $50.00 to erect a real estate <br /> sign. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Lindgren to recommend to the City <br /> Council that Ordinance #4, Section 32.03 -7 be amended as follows: <br /> Now reads: The following signs upon the securing of a <br /> special use permit, as provided in Section 64 <br /> of this ordinance for each such sign: <br /> (1) Real estate development signs may be <br /> erected to promote a residential project <br /> of ten (10) or more dwelling units. <br /> Such signs will not exceed one hundred <br /> (100) square feet per side and shall be <br /> removed when the project is ninety (90) <br /> percent completed, sold or leased; <br /> Is amende to _read: <br /> Real estate development signs shall be <br /> permitted if they meet the following <br /> requirements: <br /> (1) Signs shall not be placed upon private <br /> property unless written permission is <br /> obtained from the owner, <br /> (2) Signs shall be placed twenty five (25) <br /> feet from the curb edge, <br /> (3) Signs shall not exceed the dimensions of <br /> 6' X 10 ", <br /> (4) Signs shall be removed when the project <br /> is ninety (90) percent completed, sold or <br />
