Chairman Tourville stated that the City never <br /> approved it. <br /> Mayor Haberman and Council member Fetersuh participated in the <br /> discussion that followed. <br /> Peterson asked hat the ordinances st cnnc7ernin privat. r("ad <br /> access for vehicles such as fire trucks and whether c <br /> was a problem. <br /> Chairman Tourville expressed concern . that about one-third nf the <br /> land appears to be unusable because of the ridge that drops down <br /> toward the creek. Opp stated that he intends to grade and level <br /> ridges out and that this area would be very nice- for e yard. <br /> Possible commercial use of this area was discussed and tiefitor <br /> Nabei.,11 stated that the revised Comprehensive Flan appears Lo <br /> not want that area commercial because residential is across the <br /> street. Mr. Opp stated that he has thought of putting a Hardware <br /> Store there, but the City doesn't see it that way. He feels that <br /> the second proposal is the best possible use of the property, and <br /> is asking for a variance to lot size for Parcel A and a Special <br /> Use Permit for Parcel B. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Drilling, to table the request until <br /> February for further discussion, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Tourville stated that if P & Z does not make a recommendation <br /> within 60 days, Mr. Opp can approach the City Council directly. <br /> He stated that the Commission would be interested in any <br /> improvements to the plan that Opp could come up with. <br /> I. <br />
