Irr
P & Z Meeting Minutes
Page 2
November 1, 1988
Cliff DeBilzan, 1965 South Robin Lane and Lori Peltier, 2241 -
3rd Street, White Bear Lake were present and stated that they and
their respective mates would be proprietors of the store.
Members of the commission and liaison Wilharber asked questions
of Ms. Peltier and Mr. DeBilzan.
The Assistant Clerk was to ask the City Clerk to research what
agency of government determines hours a liquor store may be open
and have the information ready for the Council meeting.
Motion by Drilling, second by Welk to approve the Special Use
Permit application and recommend its approval by the City
Council, motion carried unanimously.
Robert Barett, 6953 Centerville Road, explained the situation
concerning the need for a lot split to split off a 3.3' x 150'
piece from the property behind his and add it to his property.
He stated that an error was made years ago when the property was
surveyed, which left this narrow strip between his property and
the Henrich property to the south and it was not discovered until
recently.
He further stated that he did not pay for the strip and it did
not add any value to his property and so he felt the fee for a
lot split should be waived.
Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to approve a lot split for
Robert Barett and recommend its approval by the City Council, and
further recommend that the fee be waived, motion carried
unanimously.
Discussion of computer copies of Ordinance #4 and #8 with
amendments incorporated and Table of Contents added. It appeared
to be the wish of the commission that loose leaf notebooks be
purchased by City staff and the cost taken out of P & Z's budget
for the members to keep the ordinances in. This would make it
easier to add amendments and delete old pages.
The Assistant Clerk asked for approval of the copies, since they
have not been proofed. It appeared that the commission had not
had time to compare the copies to the originals and they were not
prepared to give approval at this time. It will be discussed
again at next month's meeting.
Discussion of the need for a Master Water Map and how it would be
paid for.
Motion by Vermeulen, second by Drilling to approve of ordering a
Master Water Map from the City Engineers to be paid for out of
L
