Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning; and 'Zonin <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a Public Hearing on <br /> Tuesday, August 2, 1388. Chairman Tourville called the hearing <br /> to order at 7:10 p.m. Present: Vermuelen, Lindgren, Drilling <br /> and Council liaison Wilharber. Absent: Welk. <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all <br /> persons present <br /> regarding amending Ordinance #4, TABLE B, SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT <br /> REGULATIONS, iOT ANU YARD REJIRFMENTS, to increase the minimum <br /> lot requirements for the R -2A District from 10,000 square feet to <br /> 11,500 square feet. <br /> Chairman Tourville asked for questions and comments from the <br /> audience. The following persons responded: <br /> Jerry Rehbein - 6266 Otter Lake Road, Lino Lakes <br /> Mort Huber - Acorn Investments <br /> Tourville asked for comments from the Commission. Member <br /> Lindgren stated that he is against 70 foot frontages and that if <br /> developers got 70 feet they would want 65. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second l the hearing, <br /> � nd by Vermeulen to adjourn �.he . iearing, <br /> motion carried unanimously. Absent: Welk. <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons present <br /> regarding amending Ordinance #4, TABLE A, SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT <br /> REGULATIONS, PERMITTED AND SPECIAL USES, B -1 Commercial District, <br /> to include Liquor Stores on the list of USES PER1 ED WITH A <br /> SPF"' Ai ii FEEMrm <br /> Chairman Tourville asked for comments from the audience. <br /> Lori Peltier, 2241 - 3rd ,'ULe White Deaf Lake. was pre ;t <br /> and stated that she is one of the parties interested in opening a <br /> Liquor Store and Video Shop in the Centerville Plaza building. <br /> She doesn't have a problem with the need for a Special Use <br /> Permit, <br /> Council liaison Wilharber stated that the reasoning behind <br /> putting Liquor Stores on the list of Uses Permitted With a <br /> Special Use Permit versus Permitted Principal Uses is so that. the <br /> City will have more control; the permit will be reviewed yearly; <br /> problems can be eliminated early. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to adjourn the hearing, <br /> motion carried unanimously.
