r <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a Public Hearing on <br /> Tuesday, July 5, 1988. Assistant Chairperson Welk called the <br /> hearing to order at 7:04 p.m. Present: Vermeulen, Lindgren and <br /> Drilling. Absent: Tourville and Council liaison Burgstahler. <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons present <br /> regarding amending Ordinance #4 to include amendments and the <br /> addition of Appendix B - Industrial. These amendments and <br /> additions are attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> Assistant Chairperson Welk asked for comments from the audience. <br /> None were made. <br /> Welk asked for comments from the Commission. None were made. <br /> Hearing adjourned at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held its regular meeting on <br /> Tuesday, July 5, 1988. Assistant Chairperson Welk called the <br /> meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. Present: Vermeulen, Lindgren and <br /> Drilling. Absent: Tourville and Council liaison Burgstahler. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Vermeulen to approve the minutes of <br /> the June 7, 1988 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of feasibility study by Maier, Stewart and Associates <br /> for the proposed Rehbein developments north and south of Main <br /> Street. John Stewart reviewed the study for P & Z. <br /> The Planning Report by Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc., <br /> was also discussed and commented on along with the feasibility <br /> study. One item of particular interest was the recommendation by <br /> both to increase lot size in the R - -2A zoning district. <br /> It was suggested by Stewart and agreed upon by Mayor L'Allier, <br /> Council member Neumann (who were both present) and the P & Z <br /> members present to hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July 12, <br /> 1988 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss amending Ordinance #4, TABLE B, <br /> SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS, LOT AND YARD REQUIREMENTS to <br /> increase the minimum lot requirement for the R -2A district. <br /> Members of the audience asked questions and made comments: <br /> Leon L'Allier - 1973 Main Street <br /> Dave Call - 1969 Main Street <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Lindgren to hold a public hearing <br /> on and to make recommendation to the City Council for a <br /> Comprehensive Plan amendment to rezone the Rehbein development <br /> north of Main Street, presently in the MUSA boundary and <br />
