Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a Public Hearing on <br /> Tuesday, June 7, 1988. Chairman Tourville called the hearing to <br /> order at 6:40 p.m. Present: Vermeulen, Lindgren and Council <br /> liaison Fritchie. Absent: Welk and Drilling. <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons present <br /> regarding a request for variance from Ordinance #4, TABLE B <br /> "SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS, LOT AND YARD REQUIREMENTS ", to <br /> allow a two- - family dwelling to be constructed on a lot 100 feet <br /> in width versus 150 feet in width. The property for which the <br /> variance is requested is 4.64VA of Centerville Road, 4g4t. of <br /> LaMotte Drive and south of Heritage Street and shall be described <br /> as follows: <br /> That part of Lot 15, Auditor's Subdivision No. 48,Anoka County, <br /> Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the intersection <br /> of the North line of said Lot 15 and the Westerly right -of -way <br /> line of CSAH No. 4 (a /k /a Centerville Road); thence Southerly <br /> along the said Westerly right -of -way line 255 feet; thence West <br /> at right angles 247 feet to the point of beginning; thence <br /> continuing West on same described line 100 feet; thence North at <br /> right angles and to the North line of said Lot 15; thence East on <br /> said North line 100 feet more or less, to an intersection with a <br /> line extending North from the point of beginning and parallel <br /> with the Westerly right -of -way line of CSAH No. 4; thence South <br /> to the point of beginning. <br /> Scott Mower, 6823 East Shadow Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, presented <br /> the request and stated that the proposed two- family dwelling <br /> would fit nicely on the lot and would stay within the 10 foot <br /> side yard setbacks. <br /> Audience members expressed their opinions: <br /> Peter Despen, 1680 Heritage Street <br /> Joan LaMotte, 1643 Heritage Street <br /> Chairman Tourville expresc.od concern that the Ordinance states <br /> that P & Z must justify why a variance is granted. <br /> Hearing adjourned at 6:58. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a second Public <br /> Hearing on Tuesday, June 7, 1988. (Vermeulen <br /> stepped down for the duration of the hearing.) <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons present <br /> regarding a request for variance from Ordinance #4, TABLE B <br /> "SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS, LOT AND YARD REQUIREMENTS ", to <br /> build an addition /garage outside the setback requirements of 50 <br /> feet from the traveled roadway to 31 feet 8 inches from the edge <br />
