Ms. <br /> Mi.itz- Miller also pointed out areas of the manual that were <br /> changes in City policy. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to recommend City Council <br /> approval of the Assessment Manual pending investigation by the <br /> City Engineer on wording and changes for page 4 - #5 Emit <br /> Footage a. Singe Frontage hots and page 6 - 48. Assessment <br /> Period (budgeting versus assessment for bituminous overlay) and <br /> page 22 (same concern) with the understanding that. the City <br /> Attorney will be reviewing it, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Discussion of wording for Attached Garages. Chairman Tourville <br /> set aside this amendment. to Ordinance #4 to be handled along with <br /> other proposed amendments under New Business. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to table Scott Mower <br /> request for variance pending review by the City Planner, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Lindgren to table Vermeulen request <br /> for variance pending Vermeulen discussing "average setback" <br /> criteria with the Building Inspector for his interpretation and <br /> Lindgren. help. Z er ipe u ler ... <br /> abstained. <br /> Clyde Rehbein, Northway Construction, Inc., was present to <br /> discuss his variance request to build a pole -type building on Lot <br /> 2, Block 1, Industrial Park. Mr. Rehbein stated that he is <br /> presently tearing down the building in Shoreview and would like <br /> to have it rebuilt on the new site. He further stated that he <br /> only heard about our Moratorium Ordinance in April. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Lindgren recommending City Council <br /> deny the variance request of Clyde Rehbein based on the prior <br /> case and until the Planner can look at it and tell the City his <br /> feeling on the Moratorium Ordinance, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Discussion of appointment of two P & Z members to work with the <br /> Planner on an Economic Development Plan for the City.
