P 8; Z Meeting Minutes <br /> Page 3 <br /> June 7, 1988 <br /> People expressing concerns: <br /> Norman Fritchie, 1637 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> Steve Pfaffendorf, 1667 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> Hearing adjourned at 7:41 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held its regular meeting on <br /> Tuesday, June 7, 1988. Chairman Tourville called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:50 p.m. Present: Vermeulen, Drilling, Lindgren and <br /> Council liaison Fritchie. Absent: Welk. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Drilling to approve the minutes of <br /> the May 3, 1988 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Gerald Rehbein was present concerning Sketch Plan approval for a <br /> development east. of Brian Drive and south of Main Street. Mr. <br /> Rehbein pointed out the differences between this plan and the <br /> first plan which he had presented at the May 3rd meeting. <br /> Mr. Rehbein also stated that he would want Municipal Water for <br /> the project and prefers a park dedication fee rather than land <br /> for a park. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Lindgren to approve the Rehbein <br /> Sketch Plan. Aye: Tourville, Vermeulen and Lindgren. Nay: <br /> Drilling. <br /> Council liaison Fritchie pointed out that a Planner will be on <br /> board soon and City Council will decide at their June 8 meeting <br /> whether or not to make it City policy to collect a $500 Planner <br /> escrow from developers at the sketch plan stage. The Planner <br /> would review the plan for aesthetics, compatibility to the City <br /> and compliance to City ordinances. <br /> Member Drilling stated that he would like to wait for the Planner <br /> before approving this plan. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Vermeulen to recommend to City <br /> Council that a feasibility study be done on the proposed Rehbein <br /> development, contingent upon Park and Recreation Committee <br /> approval. Aye: Tourville, Vermeulen and Lindgren. Nay: <br /> Drilling. <br /> Discussion of vacation of Westview from Main Street east to <br /> Centerville Road. Neither of the abutting property owners were <br /> present. <br /> L <br />
