r <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice= thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held a special meeting <br /> Tuesday, March 22, 1988. The purpose of the meeting was to <br /> discuss items tabled at previous meetings. Chairman Tourville <br /> called the meeting to order at 7:22 p.m. Present: Welk, <br /> Vermeulen and Council liaison Neumann. Absent: Lindgren and <br /> Drilling. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Vermeulen to approve the minutes of the <br /> March 1, 1988, meeting with the following change to the last <br /> paragraph of page 1, the East 246.44 x 310.89 feet" instead of <br /> "the East 225 x 275 feet ", motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of amending Ordinance #4. Tamara Miltz- Miller, the <br /> City Clerk, was present to express some of her concerns and help <br /> the Commission decide on some needed changes. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to set up a Public Hearing to <br /> discuss making the following changes to amend Ordinance #4 and to <br /> make recommendation to the City Council for their approval at the <br /> April 13, 1988 meeting: <br /> TABLE A <br /> Under I -1 Industrial, remove #5. Supply Yard; #7. Truck Terminals, <br /> #8. Public Parking, #9. Parking Lots, #11. Contractor's Yard from <br /> the list of PERMITTED PRINCIPAL USES and add them to the list of <br /> USES PERMITTED ON SPECIAL USE PERMIT. <br /> Under B -1 Commercial, PERMITTED PRINCIPAL USES change #3. Offices <br /> and Banks to Financial Institutions, #4. Personal & Professional <br /> Services to Personal & Professional Business Offices, also add <br /> #11. Barber & Beauty Shops and #12. Laundry /Dry Cleaning/ <br /> Tailoring, move to the list of USES PERMITTED ON SPECIAL USE <br /> PERMIT #6. Parking Lots and make it #13. and add #14. Car Washes, <br /> also remove 44. Supply Yards from the list. <br /> Also, add this paragraph to the bottom of TABLE A, B -1 <br /> Commercial* and I -1 Industrial* - *Upon application it is the <br /> policy of the Planning & Zoning Commission to make recommendation <br /> to the City Council to consider amendments to the Zoning <br /> Ordinance which would add to this list those uses which are not <br /> specified in the Ordinance but are compatible with those listed <br /> permitted uses.
