P &Z Meeting Minutes <br /> Page 3 <br /> January 5, 1988 <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> After a discussion concerning how to best index the amendments to <br /> Ordinance 04 and the time involved to do it, it was decided not <br /> to have an extra meeting in January. Assistant Clerk was asked <br /> to have the indexing done for the February meeting. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Vermeulen to have Member Lindgren <br /> get prices for name plates for P &Z, motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of changes needed in Ordinance #8, <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Welk to amend Article 3, Section <br /> 38.09. TREES. to read "One (1) tree per lot shall be planted in <br /> the front yard not in the easement, unless otherwise approved by <br /> City Council ". <br /> After more discussion, Welk withdrew second and Drilling withdrew <br /> the motion. It was decided that wording was already clear <br /> enough. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Vermeulen to add the following to <br /> Article 3, Section 38. IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION -"38.12. SODDING. <br /> The developer must sod the front yard, boulevard, and side yards <br /> to the rear of the structure on every lot. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Drilling to add the following <br /> wording to Article 3, Section 38 - IMPROVEMENT CONSTRUCTION, <br /> 38.03 -3. STREETS - and shall include a geotextile fabric mat as <br /> specified by the City Engineers." also add to Article 4, Section <br /> 44. FINAL PLAT.,'44.05 - With submission of the final plat, ten <br /> (10) copies of the plat map showing all addresses correctly <br /> labeled shall be supplied to the City Clerk for subsequent <br /> distribution to the utility companies, local school districts, <br /> and Fire and Police Departments. ", and make the following <br /> changes: Section 45., 45.03 PRELIMINARY PLAT (1), change wording <br /> from " ten (10) copies" to "fifteen (15) copies ", and Section <br /> 45.04 FINAL PLAT - 2. "Four (4) prints" to "Ten (10) prints ", <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Lindgren, second by Vermeulen to hold a Public Hearing <br /> to discuss amending Ordinance #8 to include the changes and <br /> additions in the previous two motions, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Commission members Welk and Vermeulen left the meeting at 10:25. <br />
