r <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission of Centerville held a public hearing on <br /> October 7, 1986 at 7:00 P.M. Present: Murray, Buesseler, <br /> Welk. <br /> The purpose was to hear all persons present regarding a <br /> request for a special use permit to remodel existing duplex <br /> at 7159 Mill Road to a six unit building. <br /> Jerry Roach, resident and owner of 7159 Mill Road, is pro- <br /> posing to remodel his property to a 5 or 6 unit building <br /> from its present status as a duplex. The size of the build- <br /> ing will remain the same - 2500 square feet. Two decks and <br /> dormer windows will be added to the building. The building <br /> is presently 40 feet by 72 feet. There is a 40 foot setback <br /> on the north, 84 foot setback on the south, 63 foot setback <br /> on the east, and 129 foot setback on the west. It is zoned <br /> sewered residential and has one sewer stub. The units to <br /> be added would be 1 bedrooms and efficiencies. <br /> Members of the audience expressed opposition to the special <br /> use permit: <br /> Joe Pelton, 7178 Mill Road <br /> Stacey Nelson, 7164 Mill Road <br /> Wayne Hanson, 7200 Mil Road <br /> John Skeie, 7173 Mill Road <br /> John Probst, 7167 Mill Road <br /> The main concerns expressed were: <br /> - lower property values <br /> - additional traffic and noise <br /> - parking problems <br /> - noise problems <br /> Larry Koch, 1626 Peltier Lake Drive, expressed a need for <br /> apartments in Centerville and was in favor of the special <br /> use permit. <br /> Motion by Buesseler, second by Murray to adjourn hearing and <br /> discuss matter further during the regular Planning and Zoning <br /> meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Hearing adjourned at 8:05 P.M. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereos, the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on October 7, 1986 at City Hall. Chairman Tourville called <br /> the meeting to order at 8:05 P.M. Present: Murray, Buesseler, <br /> Welk. <br /> Motion by Murray, second by Buesseler to accept the minutes <br /> of the September 2nd meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Appearance of Larry Koch, 1626 Peltier Lake Drive. Mr. Koch <br /> wanted to know if he could store vehicles in his pole barn <br /> and on his back field. The general consensus of the Planning <br /> and Zoning Commission was that it was ok to store vehicles <br /> in his pole barn. To store vehicles on his back field for <br />
