r •
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning
and Zoning Commission of Centerville held their regular
meeting on Tuesday March 4, 1986 at City Hall. Chairman
Tourville called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M.
Present: Welk, Buesseler, Lindgren, Murray, Liaison: Robischon,
Mayor L'Allier
Correction to February 4, 1986 meeting minutes first paragraph.
"It was the general consensus Mr. Schriber's request may not
meet criterias #1 & 3." Motion by Buesseler, second by
Lindgren to approve the minutes of the February 4, 1986
meeting as corrected, Motion carried.
Chairman Tourville opened the discussion between the Commission
members and Mr. Bob Wuornos of R.L. Wuornos & Associates who
was present to discuss and answer questions about his Agreement
for Professional Planning Services and Work Plan for the City
of Centerville.
Chairman Tourville directed question to Liaison Robischon
and Mayor L'Allier about first finding out what dollar amount
they could expect to spend and if there was any money available
at the present time to work with. It was decided to have Clerk
check into budget to determine if there are moneys available
in the 1986 budget.
Pertaining to Agreement for Professional Planning Service
Letter, Bob Wuornos told Commission Mr. Larry Blackstead
would be our Planner and the fee set at $70.00 per meeting.
If Mr. Wuornos comes along they would only charge for one.
Kathy Welk asked if there would be other fees such as Word
Processing and Clerical and research time and Mr. Wuornos
said yes but this cost could be kept down if we could get
volunteer help from the people in the community espically
in the areas of research.
Chairman Tourville asked how much advance notice would be
needed if Planner is tot expected to be at a meeting.
Mr. Wuornos replied he would want a 7 day notice and the
P & Z Commission could have Planner come only to the meetings
when requested.
Murray suggested P & Z Commission and City Council have a
joint meeting when planner was needed.
Also discussed on Agreement was Item 12, Termination of
Agreement. The Commission felt a 60 day written notice
by either the CLIENT or CONSULTANT would be better than
30 days to terminate this agreement. Mr. Wuornos was
agreeable.
