PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, March 1, 1995 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, March 1, 1995 at the City Hall. Acting Chairperson <br /> Thompson called meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. Present: Pelton, <br /> Larson, and Navin. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> Approval of February 1, 1995, meeting minutes <br /> Larson, Pelton and Thompson made the following changes: <br /> - Add Councilmember before Buckbee in first paragraph. <br /> - Under Rink Attendant Update correct Jill's last name to <br /> Novak and add Ryan's last name Cerepak. <br /> - Under Trails Update, CSAH to read 14 & 52, and Anoka City <br /> Park to read: Anoka County Park. <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Thompson to approve minutes with <br /> amendments. Motion carried, Navin abstained. <br /> Approval of January 4, 1995, meeting minutes <br /> Correction was made to remove Reisdorfer from absent list as he <br /> is no longer a committee member. <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Larson to approve January's meeting <br /> minutes with the amendments. Motion carried, Thompson abstained. <br /> Approval of December 7, 1994 meeting minutes <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Navin to approve December's meeting <br /> minutes. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> APPEARANCES: <br /> Gerald Rehbein, Golden Meadows <br /> Gerald Rehbein presented a proposal concerning the park trail in <br /> Acorn Creek and Golden Meadows. Lonnie Kornovich was also <br /> present. <br /> Rehbein explained that due to error a park access was not <br /> recorded with the county, therefore, no access to park in Acorn <br /> Creek. Rehbein proposed to purchase land from Moore to construct <br /> an easement to park. Rehbein and Kornovich further proposed to <br /> take the park dedication for Golden Meadows and credit it to more <br /> land for addition to Acorn Creek. This land addition will be <br /> purchased from Moore. <br /> Kornovich requested that P & R consider two options for his <br /> Golden Meadows development: <br /> 1. Cash payment to P &R for park land dedication fee. <br /> or <br /> 2. Purchase of Moore's property for addition to Acorn Creek <br />
