PARK AND RECREATION MEETING MINUTES <br /> MARCH 1, 1995 <br /> PAGE 2 <br /> park. <br /> Kornovich stated that to put in the required acreage for a park <br /> in Golden Meadows would appear to make the development <br /> unprofitable. <br /> Motion by Larsen, second by Thompson, that all P &R committee <br /> members will view Acorn Creek proposal ASAP as well as the Golden <br /> Meadows Development. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Thompson was selected by P &R to be a contact person on the <br /> proposal for communication purposes. <br /> Pat Mahr, Chain of Lakes Little League Baseball <br /> Pat Mahr recounted the Chain of Lakes Little League letter <br /> requesting the baseball diamonds. April 1 - August 15, 1995, <br /> Monday - Friday, 4:00 p.m. to dark, is the Chain of Lakes <br /> request. Also of one Saturday, June 3, 1995 for pictures and <br /> playing of one game. <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Thompson to all Chain of Lakes Little <br /> League request as stated above. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Citizen Paul Montain suggested that P &R send out letter of <br /> interest to ball field users in August to allow potential where <br /> better preparation. The committee agreed to make an attempt to <br /> send out surveys early. <br /> Thompson volunteered to be liaison for P &R and Chain of Lakes <br /> Little League. Thompson to take inventory of equipment that <br /> belongs to the City of Centerville. <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Pelton to allow Chain of Lakes Little <br /> League use of the concession stand in 1995. Motion passed <br /> unanimously. <br /> Thompson requested that Chain of Lakes Little League return the <br /> key for Central Park that they have possession of and he deposit <br /> check will be returned. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> North Metro Recreation Update <br /> P &R made a note from February meeting minutes that P &R requested <br /> a rep from North metro be present at meeting, no one showed. P &R <br /> requests City Hall to follow up and request North Metro be <br /> present at April meeting. <br />
