PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, October 5, 1994 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, October 5, 1994 at the City Hall. Chairperson <br /> Dixon called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. Present: Navin, <br /> Pelton, Thompson, Larson, Reisdorfer, City Council Liaison <br /> Brenner. Absent: Drilling. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> September 7, 1994 meeting minutes. <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Navin to approve the September 7, <br /> 1994 meeting minutes with the following amendments: <br /> Page Two, Paragraph Eight <br /> Now Reads: "Action Item Preliminary date <br /> Grants Ongoing <br /> Amend to Read: "Action Item Preliminary date <br /> Grants 4/95 <br /> Page Two, Paragraph Twelve <br /> Now Reads: "Amend to Read: "Appraised @ $66,000. <br /> Asking: same as city hall site, $10,395 /acre <br /> or $124,740.00 "... <br /> Amend to Read: "Amend to Read: "Appraised @ $66,000. <br /> Asking: $10,395 /acre or $124,740.00 "... <br /> Page Three, Paragraph Three <br /> Now Reads: "...Committee member Pelton acted as <br /> chairperson and presented..." <br /> Amend to Read: "...Committee member Pelton represented the <br /> committee and presented..." <br /> AYE - Dixon; AYE - Pelton; AYE - Navin; AYE - Larson; ABSTAIN <br /> - Reisdorfer, motion carried. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Night Golf Update. <br /> It was noted that a good time was had by all participants. <br /> According to Bill Bisek, the proceeds from the fund raiser are <br /> approximately $1,000 to $1,300. <br /> Committee member Navin submitted a check for $15.00 for the <br /> purchase of golf balls. <br /> The Committee discussed how the funds will be used (i.e. picnic <br /> tables, etc.) <br /> Chairperson Dixon will get a list of donors to write thank you <br /> letters to. It was noted a thank you letter should also be sent <br /> to Bill Bisek for his help with the fund raiser. <br />
