PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1994 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice, thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee held their regular meeting on Wednesday, September 7, <br /> 1994 at the City Hall. Chairperson Dixon called the meeting to <br /> order at 6:35 p.m. Present: Larson, Pelton, Thompson, Navin. <br /> Absent: Reisdorfer, Drilling. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> August 3, 1994 meeting minutes. <br /> Committee member Thompson asked about a copy of the 1995 budget <br /> as it is documented in the minutes. <br /> Chairperson Dixon secured a copy of the 1995 budget and <br /> distributed it the Committee. <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Thompson to approve the August 3, <br /> 1994 meeting minutes, AYE - Pelton; AYE - Dixon; AYE - <br /> Thompson; ABSTAIN - Larson; ABSTAIN - Navin, motion carried. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Night Golf. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee questioned if the $100.00 <br /> profit figure was correct. Chairperson Dixon indicated that the <br /> Committee needed to purchase extra balls. <br /> Committee member Thompson asked about volunteering for work. <br /> Bill Bisek updated the Committee on the following: <br /> eleven foursomes signed up. <br /> ads are coming out this week, capacity is problem. <br /> but it is tentatively set to be free pay the driver. <br /> - dinner from 6:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m., bus leaves 7:00, be <br /> at course by 7:30 p.m. <br /> - charge is $25.00 per person, includes golf ball. <br /> - will need people on the course to direct players. Six <br /> on the course, plus someone to help clean up on <br /> Saturday morning. <br /> Mr. Bisek anticipate a minimum profit of $1,000.00 for <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee. <br /> volunteers are needed to be at the course at 6:00 p.m. <br /> - Chomonix Golf Course. Chairperson Dixon and <br /> Committee members Larson and Navin will volunteer for <br /> Friday night. Committee member Pelton and Thompson <br /> will volunteer for Saturday morning. <br /> Mr. Bisek has a $50.00 gift certificate for a golf <br /> analysis, he will ask his distributors for additional <br /> prizes. Chairperson Dixon will contact Waterworks <br /> Beach Club for some T- shirts or food gift certificates. <br />
