P &R MEETING MINUTES JULY 6, 1994 PAGE THREE dollars. Committee member Drilling asked the Clerk /Administrator about this. The Clerk /Administrator said there was grant information put in a previous Park and Recreation Committee packet. No members remember such grant information displaying the fact that monies were available. Discussion followed as to where an additional 100 feet of path, could be placed since it has been determined that the construction already done would not count for the grant dollars. Paul Palzer, Drilling and Larson will work together to determine where the 100 feet of asphalt path will be placed. Grant dollars are also available for a 70 x 15 foot parking lot. Member Reisdorfer questioned why grant money was received for a parking lot prior to Park and Recreation approval. Committee member Residorfer is personally opposed to any type of parking lot at Water Tower Park. Mr. Palzer will work with Committee members Drilling and Larson to determine the requirement of the parking lot grant money. Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Larson that Paul Palzer, Public Works Director /Building Inspector, to spend the $1000.00 grant money as necessary to meet State requirements at Central Park, improvements necessary to make the bathrooms handicapped accessible, motion carried unanimously. 1994 Line Item Budget. Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to approve the attached line budget, motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: City Survey Results. Tabled. 1995 Line Item Budget. Tabled. Night Golf Tournament. Tabled. ADJOURN: Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Drilling to adjourn the meeting, motion carried unanimously.
