Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday, August 14, 1990 at City Hall. Chairman Dixon called <br /> the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: . LeTendre, Drilling, <br /> Reisdorfer, Liaison Neumann; Absent: Downing. <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by Drilling to approve the July 10, 1990 <br /> meeting minutes with the following correction: <br /> page one, paragraph nine now reads: "... the possible <br /> purchase of a used 24 hours power..." <br /> amend to read: "...the possible purchase of a used 20 horse <br /> power.... <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> £.nce at Royal Meadows Park <br /> The following residents were present and discussed their concerns <br /> of increased traffic in their yards due to the installation of <br /> the fence and Royal Meadows and the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee's intentions regarding the easements between their <br /> properties: <br /> - Jim Davis - 7152 Brian Way <br /> - John and Shelly Greene - 7160 Brian Way <br /> - Mike Thompson - 7144 Brian Way <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee told the residents that we <br /> would look into the options available on both issues and inform <br /> them. <br /> The residents also expressed concerns about the dirty /clogged <br /> drainage drains and the level of the pond. The Park and <br /> Recreation Committee directed them to City Hall and Tamara Miitz- <br /> Miller, Clerk /Administrator. <br /> Grading of Water Tower Park <br /> Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, and Gerald Rehbein were <br /> thcir erns abo�,t the grading at. the park. <br /> p L'C SCll V vv CiicCilou � �` � �i��� =---- - <br /> No overall plan has been laid out but they have been asked <br /> several times to do different grading jobs. They felt it was an <br /> expensive way to do it. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee does plan to do an overall plan <br /> and have the grading complete this year. <br /> It was noted that Ory should be taking his direction from Tamara <br /> Miltz- Miller, Clerk /Administrator, in these situations. <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by LeTendre to halt all expenditures for <br /> grading at the Water Tower Park for now, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />
