P&R Meeting Minutes <br /> August 14, 1990 <br /> page two <br /> Golden Meadows <br /> Gerald Rehbein, developer, briefly present that this was a <br /> ninety -six unit POD (planned unit development); twelve eight -plex <br /> units. The Park and Recreation Committee was asked how they <br /> wanted to handle the park dedication. Issue was tabled until <br /> more information was available. <br /> • <br /> Central Park Oren House <br /> This is to be an Open House, not a City Celebration. <br /> Two picnic tables have been ordered for the park. <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by LeTendre to have Tamara Miltz- Miller, <br /> Clerk /Administrator to direct Orville Hughes, Public Works <br /> Director, to do the following: <br /> 1.) Prime and paint building doors; <br /> 2.) Remove carpet and put it into garage; <br /> 3.) Install door closures; <br /> 4.) Drag pleasure rink perimeter; <br /> 5.) Trim weeds in hockey rink; <br /> 6.) Keep doors open when possible to remove musty smell; <br /> and to have Committee member Drilling check into a display <br /> listing the volunteers, motion carried unanimously. <br /> The following needs to be done: <br /> 1.) LeTendre to check into a tent; <br /> 2.) Drilling to arrange games; <br /> 3.) Downing to set up posters for the open house; <br /> - hours: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. <br /> - dedication at 2:00 p.m. <br /> 4.) LeTendre will be Master of Ceremonies; <br /> 5.) Reisdorfer to organize food; <br /> - cookies, coffee and punch <br /> 6.) Dixon to look into putting sand in hockey rink for <br /> volley ball; <br /> 7.) LeTendre organizing volley ball netting and stands. <br /> Night Golf Fund Raiser <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to direct Tamara Miltz- <br /> Milier, Clerk /Administrator to request volunteers from the other <br /> City committees and the City Council to help, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Member Dixon to cover the Lino Lakes area with posters and door <br /> prizes. <br />
