1 <br /> Jerry Peterson shared the pamphlet entitled "1989 Picture -It- <br /> Painted Application - A Beautification Assistance Program ". <br /> Although the application deadline has passed for 1989, Mr. <br /> Peterson indicated that this offer is made every year. Motion by <br /> Smith to begin preparing for the submission of an application for <br /> the year 1990. <br /> Mr. Peterson also suggested that the P &R Committee coordinate <br /> with the City regarding future planning (i.e. 5 year) for trails <br /> and sidewalks. This information will be addressed at the special <br /> meeting on April 26, 1989. <br /> A question was addressed regarding ownership of the various ponds <br /> in the individual developments, particularly that of Center Oaks <br /> II, located on Center Street. It was noted that this area is in <br /> desperate need of clean up, as last year's dry weather caused <br /> grass and weeds to take over the area. Mr. Peterson has offered <br /> to address the City Council regarding this issue. <br /> Motion by Dixon to contact ban Tourville regarding snow removal <br /> for the winter of 1990, and to discuss whether Dan would be <br /> willing to remove snow on an on -call basis. <br /> A letter has been written to Margaret Langfeld regarding Night <br /> Golf, and the use of a county park for this fund raiser. <br /> Margaret has indicated that she will contact Dave Torgelson, who <br /> is in charge of that decision. Dave will, in turn, contact Jerry <br /> regarding whether we will be permitted to use the park. Motion <br /> by Le.Tendre that should the okay be given to use the park, the <br /> P &R Committee will plan a Night Golf fundraiser for the month of <br /> May.
