i Some members of the P &R Committee still do not have copies of the "Parks of Centerville." Review and beginning planning stages will start at a special meeting to be held April 26, 1989. Special notes will be submitted at that time. COMPLAINTS The P &R Committee is not sure of its responsibility to reseed cattails in Hardwood Pond Estates park. Motion by Paschke to contact Carol Pelton regarding this issue, as she may be more familiar with the circumstances surrounding that complaint. NEW BUSINESS An offer from Marcel Rivard has been accepted for the removal of the old hockey rink, contingent upon the stipulations involved with that removal. A copy of the letter sent to Marcel is attached to these minutes. Also, Tammy will be drafting a waiver of liability for the City, and sending that to Marcel to sign before clean - can begin. Motion by Dixon that should Marcel not agree to all of the stipulations, an alternate offer from Peter Despen (Centerville) and Mark Ewing, et. al. (Lino Lakes) will be accepted, as we know that they will accept the terms offered. Orville Hughes was present to ask questions and comment on various upcoming summer projects that need to me completed. Ory stated that the playground equipment needs to be checked for safety and spring clean -up around the park needs to be accomplished. Motion by Dixon to pay the City Maintenance crew to clean up the Royal Meadows Park. Motion by LeTendre not to hire a CETA worker this year, as funds will not permit this, or the hiring of a supervisor for that worker. Motion by Patchke to call Dave Lutz (a representative of the soccer teams) regarding donation of funds to maintain the cutting of grass during the soccer season. This will be done because the soccer season demands that the grass be cut more often due to the nature of the sport. Also, to contact Danny Tourville regarding information about how monies were paid last year for the mowing. Cindy will also find out the base charge for electric and gas during the summer months. Motion by LeTendre to address the City Clerk as to clarification of the March 22, 1989 CC Minutes, regarding pull tab monies going back to the City.
