Discussion was tabled until the next meeting to finalize the 1987 budget, when more of the remaining P & R committee will be present. Motion by Kruger, seconded by Pelton: vote to accept 2 - O. Skating rink business was started by a walk around the rink to check on flooding, the 3' extension of the northern fence, and general conditions. A good base is in place and the season seems to be proceeding at a good pace. Other rink business included Shawn Campbell's resignation as a rink attendant. Carol relayed a message from Debbie Gonsior notifying us that the warming house had been left unlocked 12 -7 -86 and that a wrench had been left in the driveway. We agreed that the policy of the committee would be to refer this and any future complaints about the rink attendants' performance, skaters, or the facilities to the head attendant, who this year is Tony Rehbein. Tony was flooding the rink then and was notified of this policy and procedure and said he would speak with the attendants. Motion made by pelton and seconded by Kruger to accept this as policy and procedure for the future. Vote to accept 2 - O. Larry Koch was to have ordered and have delivered the new hockey nets and none have arrived yet. Carol will try to get the nets from Larry. Kruger made a motion to accept the Fire Department recommendation 4 `4 submitted last month to the P & R. Motion seconded by Pelton, voted to accept 2 - 0. Tony Rehbein was reminded that the committee had not yet received the rink attendants' schedule and was requested to submit one for Jan /Feb to Maureen soon. Leon was to get the schedule for December from Rick and give it to Maureen. Greg Hill, a coach notified us that there was a mistake on the schedule and the league times should be changed as follows: 6:00 - 7:30 T, Th "Redwings" Pony league 7 - 8 yrs.
