Under "New Business" the Committee decided to hold a special meeting on <br /> Tuesday August 19 at 7 p.rn. to prepare the 1987 P &P, budget. Debbie was <br /> to be asked to compile 1986 expenditure records by the 19th. Dan <br /> Tourville suggested the Committee start a requisition ledger and receipt <br /> system. <br /> The Committee decided to reschedual the September meeting for the third <br /> Tuesday, Sept. 16, as election primaries are held the second Tuesday. <br /> The Committee decided to have the satellite removed from Central Park on <br /> Sept. 1, 1986, <br /> Dan Tourville reported that the snow fence at Central Park needs repair, <br /> and that there is erosion damage behind the backstop and wing fence at the <br /> north diamond. 1 also noted that the wood on the benches need repainting. <br /> He suggested that "Roundup" be used under the bleachers and benches at the <br /> ball fields. <br /> Robischon suggested that we replace the snow fence w ith a plywood fence <br /> that would be a more permanent fence d :_; " o be <br /> . ; ���,,,� e , m fens and on which a .�Ort " �r�.,, uld ��� <br /> sold to cover the cost of the new fence and perhaps generate additional <br /> revenue. He said that other cities have done this, charging $40.00 per half <br /> sheet and $30.00 for a full sheet of plywood. The Committee thought that <br /> this was an idea worth looking into. <br /> The Committee discussed setting up the little league schedule for games <br /> and practices with preference for local teams. <br /> Leon reported that a 6" well has been dug in Central Park by the Lions, the <br /> motor is to be installed shortly. <br /> In other business the Council and Committee agreed that better <br /> communication was needed between them, and the Committee recommends <br /> to the Council that there be a rotating laison from the Council at each <br /> months meeting. <br /> Debbie asked that she receive direction from the Committee for each <br /> months agenda. <br /> M tag ad i ourned 9, 1 : p M <br />
