Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, December 2, 1992 at the City Hall. Acting <br /> Chairperson Navin called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. <br /> Present: Drilling, Larson, Reisdorfer. Absent: Dixon. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Proposed Annrn Creek - Revised Sketnh Plan <br /> Gerry Rehbein, Developer, and Ken Vanderbeek, Realtor, were <br /> present to discuss the proposed Acorn Creek Development. <br /> Review of City Council Acorn Creek Development security and park <br /> access: <br /> - No problems from the Park and Recreation Committee if <br /> #40 was made into a 60 foot wide street and one to four <br /> parking lot spaces would be put in. <br /> - The Park and Recreation Committee members are still <br /> concerned that they get the appropriate 3.8 acres of <br /> land designated as park, not including water or <br /> ditches. <br /> - The Park and Recreation Committee would like a "T" <br /> paved out in #40 instead of cul -de -sac - Mr. Rehbein <br /> would pave the road all the way to the park if it was a <br /> "T" versus a cul -de -sac. The "T" turn around <br /> measurements would be approximatly 12 x 20 feet. <br /> - Committee member Drilling will go to the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission and explain the Park and Recreaction <br /> Committee's position. <br /> - There is an easement between Lots 4 and 5. <br /> Mr. Rehbein noted that any easement is park ground. <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Reisdorfer to accept, in principle, <br /> the location of park in the north east corner with improvement <br /> and with full allotted acres as dry land, not water, ditches, <br /> etc., motion carried unanimously. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Larson to approve the November 4, <br /> 1992 meeting minutes with the following corrections: <br /> Page 2, Paragraph 3 <br /> Inclusion of: "Hockey Association will be required to <br /> assist in the flooding of the rink." <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer will talk to <br /> Hockey Association. <br />
