P &R MEETING MINUTES <br /> DECEMBER 2, 1992 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> Page 1, Paragraph 4 <br /> Inclusion of: "The Park and Recreation did not approve <br /> park land as shown in north east corner <br /> for the following reasons: <br /> 1) Lack of access <br /> a) Security. <br /> b) Parking. <br /> c) Emergency and maintenance <br /> vehicles couldn't get in and <br /> our easily. <br /> 2) Full acreage for land was not going <br /> to be allotted as park - it was <br /> going be ditches., <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> 1992/1993 Rink Attendants <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer will be in charge. Hours are the <br /> same as last year. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer would like to be advised about the <br /> minimum wage; what's the lowest pay we can give attendants? <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee directs the Public Works <br /> Department to begin flooding the rink, and do it at least daily. <br /> If it isn't begun immediately, Committee member Reisdorfer must <br /> be contacted. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer would like all the keys to the park <br /> building (Central Park warming house). <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee directs the Public Works <br /> Department to clean out and clean up the Central Park warming <br /> house by December 15, 1992. <br /> Lights at Hockey Rink <br /> Committee member Larson is charge of the lights at the hockey <br /> rink. Committee member Larson has not yet received a response <br /> from John Stewart, City Engineer. Committee member Larson tried <br /> telephoning Mr. Stewart on December 2, 1992. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee directs Committee member Larson <br /> to call Bright Lights on December 3, 1992. The Park and <br /> Recreation Committee would like the lights installed as soon as <br /> possible. <br /> Fun4 Raiser at Centerville Tree Farm <br />
