Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, August 5, 1992 at the Central Park Building. <br /> Acting Chair Navin called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br /> Present: Larson, Reisdorfer, Liaison Pelton. Absent: Dixon, <br /> Drilling. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion by Larson, second by Navin to approve the June 3, 1992 <br /> meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> The July 1, 1992 meeting minutes were tabled until an appropriate <br /> quorum is available for approval. <br /> APPEARANCES <br /> Cterald Rehbein - Proposed Acorn Creek Development <br /> Gerald Rehbein, Developer of the proposed Acorn Creek <br /> Development, attended the meeting to discuss the park land <br /> dedication issue for the proposed Acorn Creek Development. Mr. <br /> Rehbein noted that a decision on park land by the Park and <br /> Recreation Committee would be needed no later than September 15, <br /> 1992. <br /> The options available to the Park and Recreation Committee are <br /> approximately 3.7 acres of land or $40,150.00 (73 lots x <br /> $550.00). <br /> Mr. Rehbein suggested to the Park and Recreation Committee that <br /> they consider the land located in the flood plain owned by Herman <br /> Strelow. Mr. Rehbein will ask Mr. Strelow if he is interested in <br /> selling the land. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer will discuss this with the <br /> Clerk /Administrator as well as other properties within the City <br /> of Centerville. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Larson to have Committee member <br /> Navin contact Mr. Joe Moore to see if he is interested in selling <br /> 10 acres to the City of Centerville for park land, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Committee member Navin will contact Mr. Moore immediately and if <br /> necessary a special Park and Recreation Committee meeting will be <br /> called. <br /> Lights at Hockey Rink <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Reisdorfer to have Chairperson Dixon <br /> totally handle the issue of the lights at Central Park, motion <br /> @@FF4 @d Uf@f4N®U ®1y, <br />
