P &R Meeting Minutes <br /> August 5, 1992 <br /> page two <br /> Miscellaneous <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee would like to thank the Public <br /> Works Department for the placement of the benches at the Water <br /> Tower Park. <br /> Trash Cans at the Water Tower Park <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to have the Mayor look into <br /> plastic drums for trash cans at the Water Tower Park; if he <br /> could get additional ones for the other parks, it would be <br /> appreciated, motion carried unanimously. <br /> r <br /> Animal �nnt of <br /> It has been viewed that people are letting their pets go to the <br /> bathroom in the parks and are not cleaning up after them. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to direct the <br /> Clerk /Administrator to please note in the next City Newsletter <br /> the fact that the City of Centerville does have an ordinance <br /> relating to leashing and related "dumping" regulations in other <br /> residence lawns and city parks; could this information also be <br /> placed on the cable channel, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Reisdorfer to direct Committee member <br /> Larson to investigate the cost of signs related to pets on <br /> leashes and their "dumping" problem in the City parks, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Soccer Fields <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Reisdorfer to have the <br /> Clerk /Administrator direct the Public Works Department to review <br /> the mess created at the soccer filed by the ditch cleaning; then <br /> level and re -seed the area to bring it to its original condition; <br /> all costs associated with this should not be charged to the Park <br /> and Recreation Committee, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Hot Doe Shack <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Larson to have the Clerk /Administrator <br /> direct the Public Works Department to put the axle /wheels and <br /> tongue on the shack by September 15, 1992 and pressure wash it; <br /> then advise the Park and Recreation Committee when done so we can <br /> meet and detail additional work needed on it, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Larson to adjourn the meeting, <br /> motion carried unanimously.
