Park and Recreation Meeting Minutes <br /> February 5, 1992 <br /> page four <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee appeared to be interested in <br /> transplanting the trees. <br /> Ms. Felton noted that the ground breaking could be in April /May <br /> of 1992. The trees located in the first portion of the property <br /> are up for grabs. The Park and Recreation Committee could <br /> contract out the transplanting of the trees. <br /> Agenda Ttem for Next Meeting <br /> Go to proposed municipal building site and mark trees for <br /> possible transplant. <br /> User Fees for Use of Facilities <br /> It appeared to be the consensus of the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee members present that a user fee would not be charged at <br /> this time, except for tournaments, but will be reconsidered if <br /> there appears to be a problem with vandalism. <br /> Deposits will still be in effect. <br /> Metropolitan Mosquito Control District Contact. Person <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to recommend to the City <br /> Council that Mike Navin be appointed as Centerville "s <br /> representative to the Metropolitan Mosquito Control District , <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Park and Recreation Activities <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Reisdorfer to request that any one <br /> on the City Council or Administration Staff that is making <br /> decisions that effect the Park and Recreation Committee, that the <br /> Park and Recreation Committee be informed, even if it is <br /> something that has been done before with out Park and Recreation <br /> Committee's knowledge, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Agenda Ttems for Next. Meeting <br /> - Line item budget <br /> - Get rid of maintenance <br /> Note: Is Tax Increment Financing monies available for <br /> trails /sidewalks.
