Ms. Pelton offered her <br /> previously prepared park plan as a jumping off point. <br /> The specifics could include: <br /> - City map showing existing and proposed parks and what <br /> is planned in each one. <br /> - Formalize the plan and have the City Council adopt it <br /> in the Comprehensive Plan; <br /> - bring to the City Council meeting, <br /> - Text describing it, <br /> - The plan should also be verbalize also, <br /> - Park Acquisition. <br /> AEenda Ttems for Next. Meeting <br /> To direct City Staff to prepare a list of each park in the City <br /> and what the Park and Recreation Committee has proposed for <br /> improvements. <br /> Carol Pelton will come back to the March meeting to discuss the <br /> seedling program. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Waterworks Bar - Request for Ballfields <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to direct City Staff to <br /> inform the Waterworks Bar that one baseball field will be <br /> allocated to them, Monday through Friday in the evening <br /> contingent upon: <br /> - that the first time the police are called due to <br /> alcohol, the privileges of using the ballfield will be <br /> suspended; <br /> - if bathroom access is desired, a key can be provided <br /> for a deposit fee, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Playground Fauinment - Water Tower Park <br /> A representative from Earl Anderson will be invited to discuss <br /> the ordered Water Tower park playground equipment. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Trees at Almendinger Property - Proposed Municipal Building Site <br /> Council member Pelton updated the Park and Recreation Committee <br /> on the trees located at the proposed municipal building site. If <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee would like to transplant the <br /> trees, the money for transplanting would come from their budget. <br /> Ms. Pelton suggested contacting Martin Asleson and /or Russell <br /> Almendinger. <br />
