P &R MEETING MINUTES OCTOBER 3, 1991 PAGE THREE APPEARANCES - CONTINUED Jim Warnest. Pat Mahr - Centennial Little Tenant! Motion by Reisdorfer, second by LeTendre to direct City Staff to write a letter to Pat Mahr, Centennial Little League, advising the following: "At this point the Park and Recreation Committee can only allocate one (1) field. The Park and Recreation Committee would like to know, in writing, which days of the week and times the Centennial Little League would like to use the field by December 1, 1991. The Park and Recreation Committee is also requesting notification from the other users. There may be a possibility of the use of the second field depending on the other requests, motion carried unanimously. It was requested that the Park and Recreation Committee's response be sent to: Pat Mahr 9233 Ryan Place Lexington, MN 55014 786 -7175 The decision was based on two facts: 1) Adults do also use and have the right to use field (as done in the past). 2) The number of Centerville students who use the field. Motion by Reisdorfer, second by LeTendre to direct City Staff to write a letter to the Waterworks Bar advising the following: "Please send the Park and Recreation Committee notification in writing by December 1, 1991 if you would like to use the Centerville parks next season. The Park and Recreation Committee would like to know the days of the week, times, the number of fields that would be required. If nobody else requests the fields, the Park and Recreation Committee will re- examine the Little Leagues use ", motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Lite Golf Tournament. Committee members LeTendre, Reisdorfer and Drilling will be there. Chairperson Dixon is unable to attend.
