Currently, in area E, on the south
^ ?r > 6a o 1 ' side of County 14, the property by
'' 4f` 1_ '''`° Waterworks has a new house under
construction and a trail could be constructed
+ , f ;, li t ;: as that property is developed. Other property
1( 1 ` • just south of Mound Trail on County 14 may
t also be developed at some point, and when
i that happens, again, a trail could be • • s t' ' l ; ' ' developed. The urgency here is to establish
+ 1, the specifications for the trail so that
" development of the areas is done consistent
with the inclusion of a trail as shown.
3
,« Area F: Wargo Nature Center
Anoka County Parks already has a plan to
, construct a trail from area E to the Wargo
r` ( Nature Center located at F. Anoka Park Trail Plan underway to connect Lamotte Park to the
Anoka County Chain of Lakes trails from H
to G. To complete the Centerville Lake
loop, a trail is needed from H to D. At Area I, the St Paul Water Utility has property that may come up for
sale in a couple years. This area, being right across the street from Lamotte Park would make a great
lakeshore park and pier, possibly jointly owned by Centerville and Lino Lakes.
Area J: Centerville Trail South
A current easement through Area J is perfect for a trail to be constructed as the land to the south of it is
developed. Centerville will be developing a trail through area J as land is developed. This trail would
provide a route to Lamotte Park and beyond in addition to providing a circular trail through central
Centerville (Areas J, M, C, and H).
Area K: Water Utility Easement Trail to Future Lino Lakes Recreational Park
Area K has a St Paul Water Utility easement that could provide a trail between Lamotte Park and a
possible future Lino Lakes Recreational area at Area L. Just north of Birch Street (between L and K), it
might be possible to use currently undeveloped land, or if necessary, continue K all the way straight south
3
