MEMO <br /> Date: June 1, 2000 <br /> To: Chairperson Michael Navin <br /> Park and Recreation Committee <br /> From: Jill Lien <br /> Re: Class Five Temporary Road to LaMotte Drive <br /> A temporary road has been installed from Centerville Road, through LaMotte Park <br /> to LaMotte Drive for the contractors building the new lift station. The contractors <br /> were granted an overweight permit - contingent upon a $15,000 escrow, for repairs <br /> to the road if needed after completion. Since the road is in such a bad condition to <br /> begin with, the contractor didn't feel comfortable leaving a $15,000 escrow for <br /> repairs to the road. The contractor asked if he could build a temporary road for the <br /> time it takes to complete the lift station, and then remove the road when complete. <br /> This temporary road will also be used by the vendors at the Fete des Lacs Festival. <br /> Thank you! <br />
