Eagle Pass Cottage Townhomes Homeowner's Association
c/o Tracie Halstrom, Secretary
6960 Dupre Rd.
Centerville, MN 55038
July 27, 2000
Mr. Jim March
City Administrator
•
City of Centerville
1880 Main St.
Centerville, MN 55038
Dear Mr. March:
On behalf of the Association of Single Townhomes of Eagle Pass, I am writing to request that the
City of Centerville take whatever action is within its' purview to address the following conditions
within the on -going development of Eagle Pass:
Regular sweeping of streets and sidewalks throughout the development. This is
required periodically by agreement between the city of Centerville and the developer, and isn't
being done. People don't use the sidewalks because of the encroaching weeds, dirt and debris and
walk on the roads instead. (See attachment A).
Ongoing pick -up of construction debris. There are pallets and other construction
debris left for extended periods of time throughout the development. (See attachment B).
Repavement of site on Dupre Rd. where pavement was dug up to repair a water line.
Warning cones and signs sit out in the streets and are kicked around by on -going traffic. (See
attachment C).
Regular maintenance and control of weeds in undeveloped lots and along sidewalks.
Throughout the development weeds have been allowed to grow in undeveloped Lots and along
sidewalks, not only creating a negative appearance, but obstructing utility boxes, mail boxes and
fire hydrants, and encroaching on stop signs. (See Attachment D).
Cleaning of storm sewer grills. Several storm sewer grills are blocked by debris and
should be checked and cleaned periodically. (See Attachment E).
