Sue Meeker of the DNR offered to help staff obtain a copy of all registered snowmobile owners within the City. Jerid Helmbrecht (1745 Main Street) questioned how many times the Police Department have gone out onto the lakes. Chief Heckman answered that there have been two (2) occasions of Police Officers going out on the lake. Chief Heckman stressed the importance of neighborhoods forming Neighborhood Crime Watch Groups. Also, if we were to compare the number of registered snowmobiles to the number of complaints, the ratio for complaints would be very low. Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to close the Public Hearing at 8:12 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. III. APPEARANCES /AWARDS IV.
