Mr. Palzer also noted <br /> these trails should have been installed by the developer. <br /> Ice Rink Attendant Update <br /> Mr. Brown stated that the pleasure rink is now open, and he has hired five attendants. <br /> Mr. Palzer mentioned the hockey rink should be open next week. <br /> Mr. Brown explained that the Centennial Hockey Association will be using the hockey <br /> rink almost every day. <br /> Family Skate Night <br /> Mr. Navin spoke with Mr. Porter earlier about who will be coordinating the Family Skate <br /> Night. Mr. Porter explained that employees of Deluxe will coordinate the first Family <br /> Skate Night, which is scheduled for this Sunday the 9th. The second Family Skate Night <br /> is scheduled for January 23 and will be coordinated by the Brownies Troop. The third <br /> Family Skate Night is scheduled for February 6 and will be coordinated by the Boy <br /> Scouts. Mr. Navin questioned if the City will have all of the necessary supplies at the <br /> warming house. Mr. March stated he will make sure that public works has all of the <br /> supplies at the warming house. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Soccer Field Survey <br /> Ms. Lien explained the City received a survey from the Minnesota Amateur Sports <br /> Commission. Mr. Navin offered to fill out the survey and send it back to them. <br /> Eagle Park <br /> Mr. Palzer questioned the Park and Recreation Committee on the plans for Eagle Park. <br /> More specifically, does the committee want it to remain a natural "untouched park area" <br /> or does the committee want public works to "clean it out "? Specifically, should public <br /> works mow or seed? <br /> Mr. March mentioned that he would like to get in touch with the Eagle Pass Townhome <br /> Association to see if he could get some citizen involvement on what the residents in <br /> Eagle Pass would like to see in the park. <br /> DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> St. Genevieve's Church Property <br /> Mr. March explained that he spoke with Father Fitzgerald about St. Genevieve's Church <br /> property. Father Fitzgerald is envisioning tearing down the rectory, closing Goiffon <br /> Road and building a new church expanding down towards the lake. Mr. March suggested <br /> relocating the church to other property owned by the church and possibly joining parishes <br /> with Hugo. <br /> 5 <br />
