City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />November 23, 2009 <br />Peltier Lake Street Improvement Project - Not to Exceed ($9,700) <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz clarified Consent Agenda Items 5 and 6 for the Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to <br />approve the Consent Agenda Item 5: Authorize Bonestroo to Complete Record Plan <br />Drawings for the 2009 Street Improvement Project - Not to Exceed ($6,800), and <br />Consent Agenda Item 6: Authorize Bonestroo to Complete Record Plan Drawings <br />for the 2009 Peltier Lake Street Improvement Project - Not to Exceed ($9,700). NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Res. #09-034 – Delinquent Utilities to be Certified to 2010 Property Taxes <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />approve Res. #09-034 – Delinquent Sewer, Water & Garbage Services for residents <br />rdthstnd <br />associated with the 3 and 4 Quarter of 2008, 1 and 2 Quarters of 2009 billing <br />cycles and assessing same to parcel identification numbers through County Property <br />Tax Statements payable in 2010. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2.Email Accounts for Commission/Committee Members ($30/yr./acct.) <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed information regarding City email accounts. He <br />stated the cost would be $30 per year, per account. He added the email accounts would <br />be City controlled accounts, as well as web-based, being they could be checked from any <br />location. Staff recommended mandatory City email accounts for the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission and made available for Park and Recreation Committee if the <br />Council chooses. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the total cost for 14 total commission/committee members <br />noting the cost being worthwhile. It was stated that there is a fair amount of email <br />conversation between the City Engineer and the Commissions/Committee, public <br />business is conducted and proposals reviewed. It was the consensus of the Council to <br />approve City email addresses for all members of the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />and the Park and Recreation Committee. <br />Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br />
