City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />November 23, 2009 <br />City Administrator Larson reported that during past years, City Hall has closed at noon <br />th <br />on December 24, with employees using PTO time. He asked if the City Council agreed <br />with this practice. It was the consensus of the Council to approve closing at noon on <br />December 24, 2009 with employees using their PTO time. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reported on the resolution supporting the Community Access Preservation <br />Act protecting “PEG” dollars, stating the City Council approved the resolution. <br /> <br />X.CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1. Labor Negotiations <br /> <br />At 7:18 p.m., Mayor Capra recessed the Regular Meeting to Closed Executive Session to <br />discuss labor negotiations. <br /> <br />Present were Mayor Capra, Council members Paar, Broussard Vickers, Fehrenbacher and <br />Love. Also present were City Attorney Glaser and Administrator Larson. <br /> <br />The Administrator reviewed a proposal from Union Local 49 representing Public Works <br />Employees. The Council provided feedback to the administrator which will be used to <br />respond to Local 49. <br /> <br />The meeting was reopened to the public at 7:45 p.m. Mayor Capra stated that the only <br />items discussed during the closed session were the labor negotiation issues. <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to adjourn <br />the November 23, 2009 City Council Meeting at 7:45 p.m. All in favor.
