Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes 01-06-10 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, January 6, 2010 - 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held the regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, January 6, 2009 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. Present: Chairperson Suzanne Seeley Vice Chairperson Kevin Selander Committee Member Kevin Amundsen Committee Member Patrick Branch Committee Member Mark Haiden Committee Member Brian Peterson Committee Member Jon Grahek Absent: None Council: City Council Liaison ~ Mayor Capra Staff: Staff Liaison Kim Stephan __________________________________________________________________________________________________ I. CALL TO ORDER Roll Call Chairperson Seeley called the January 6, 2010 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order at 6:36 p.m. Chairperson Seeley welcomed Mayor Capra to the committee as the Council Liaison. II. SET AGENDA Chairperson Seeley requested adding Mr. Mathew Neutkens under Appearances for an update on the installation of the bluebird houses in City parks. Chairperson Seeley also requested the addition of a discussion on the rotation of Chair and Vice-Chair positions within the committee under Committee Business #1. Committee Member Grahek requested adding a discussion of the history of parks as far as future developments, plans, additions, and a park overview under Committee Business #2. Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member Haiden, to set the agenda with above additions. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. The committee also requested to have the monthly engineering report included in the packet. 1 of 4
