Branch)

Scheduling of Parade, 8K Run, Lion’s Street Dance & Softball Tournament 2010

The following email correspondence regarding Fete des Lacs 2010 was sent by Lion Greg
Keiselhorst:

We’ve made some decisions as a Club. As mentioned, top priority for us was doing the Softball
Tournament in 2010. Softball Chair Lion Todd Steffen set July 30, 31 and August 1 as our best
dates. We’re running with those and have all ready received good feedback from past Teams.
st
We’re now set to do a Street Dance on Saturday July 31and we have booked the Band, The Pearl.
Being that there is no City Financial Assistance to ask for other than the Parade, we’ll be renting a
smaller tent on the Hockey Rink this coming year. (Just big enough to cover the Stage, Band and
Equipment.) We’ll be renting Sanitation, Tables, and Chairs for these Events; on a smaller scale
from years past. We’ll be doing our normal Concessions for these Events. As of today, that is all

that is planned by the Lions Club and probably will be all that we do for the Festival.

2 of 4
