<br />:'< <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br />TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 1996 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of <br />Centerville held a public hearing and their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 1996 at the <br />City Hall. Chairman Tourville called the regular meeting to order at 7: 15 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Tourville <br />Welk <br /> <br />Drilling <br />LaMotte <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Vermeulen <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />MOTION by Welk, second by LaMotte to approve the meeting minutes of February 6, 1996. <br />Motion carried, Drilling abstained. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Ordinance 4 <br /> <br />Paul Palzer, Building Inspector and MSA Engineers are preparing a list of items they feel would <br />be appropriate to address. <br /> <br />MOTION by Welk, second by Drilling to table this issue until more information is available. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ordinance 44A <br /> <br />MOTION by Tourville, second by LaMotte to table this issue. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Pawn Shops <br /> <br />Drilling stated that the legislature is passing a bill that has already been through the house and the <br />senate. This bill will address pawn shop fees, merchandise, length of hold, etc. Currently there <br />are no state laws that regulate pawn shops it has been left up to the discretion of the city. The <br />decision on the bill won't come through until April, therefore this issue will be table until such <br />time. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />On-Site Sewage Treatment <br /> <br />P&Z requested that more information be gathered to answer the following questions: <br /> <br />PZ3-19MM.
